Children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorders can’t keep their minds focused on any one task. So activities that you and I consider as routine, even something as simple as folding a newspaper, call for a tremendous effort on their part. It’s not that they don’t have the capabilities or talent. It’s just that they are “Differently Abled”. There are other “Special Children”, those with:
- Down’s Syndrome
- Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- Autism Spectrum and Pervasive Developmental Disorders
- Slow Learners and children with motor / Visual and speech coordination problems
Our cause is simple and straightforward; we firmly believe that with special decoration, attention and training, these “Special Children” can find their rightful place in society and contribute as much as any “normal” person. That’s why we are asking for your help and care. Your kind cooperation and suggestion and generosity to the special child’s cause could provide them a reason to smile.
